We're now past Christmas and New Year's, so we're left with some cold, snowy weather before the schools start up again and everyone starts wishing for spring. BUT, during this season, when everything seems to be slowing down, we have a few events coming up that will make it worthwhile for you to leave your warm, dry house.
Leo Ziebol will be guest piercing at the shop from January 27th to 30th. Leo is the former owner of 5 Point Studios in Des Moines, Iowa, and the current owner and operator of Relic Stoneworks, with his wife, Kate. Leo and his wife make the finest stone body jewelry available anywhere, and we're proud to be able to stock a good amount of it here at Infinite. You can go to the Infinite Facebook page for a huge collection of photos of Relic stone plugs and labrets, but this only gives you a clue of how amazing these pieces are to see and hold in person. Leo will not only be piercing during his visit, but will be bringing a huge assortment of new jewelry with him. If you're interested, Leo can tell you more than you ever knew about stone body jewelry. For more information about Leo and Relic, go to relicstoneworks.com. |
Elayne Angel will again be visiting the shop from February 17th to 20th. Her last visit, in August, was such a success that we're hoping to have her back twice a year. If you are interested in getting pierced by Elayne, email her at elayneangel@piercingbible.com for an appointment. Elayne is a world-renowned piercer, educator, and author. She is the former manager of Gauntlet's Los Angeles store, former owner of Rings of Desire in New Orleans, a three-term Board member of the Association of Professional Piercers, and an industry veteran with over three decades of piercing experience. She has popularized both the triangle and fourchette piercings for women, and is the industry expert on female genital piercings, educating on this topic all over the world. She is most recently the author of The Piercing Bible, available for sale through the shop. Getting pierced by Elayne is an experience you will not soon forget. For more information on Elayne and her work, go to piercingbible.com.
Lastly, Kyle will be gone from February 16th to March 16th. In addition to Elayne, we will have two other guest piercers coming through town to cover his shifts: Erica Gomez will be piercing from February 22nd to March 1st. Erica starting piercing in 2003, in Chicago, and has worked for more than two years at Splash of Color in East Lansing, Michigan. After Erica leaves, Paul Espinoza—from Diablo Rojo in Austin, Texas—will be at Infinite for his second visit. Some of you may remember him from last May, when he covered for everyone who was away at the annual APP Conference and Exposition. Paul was a favorite of our customers and staff, and we're very excited to have him back. He will be working from March 4th to 14th.
