:: Dydoes :: Usually done in pairs, dydoes are small barbells going through the coronal ridge on the head of the penis. This is not a very common piercing, since the wearer must have a very pronounced flare on the glans to even attempt to heal them. Even then, the chance that the piercing will grow out is quite high. We do not recommend this piercing to uncircumcised men. (In fact these piercings have been rumored to help replace some of the sensation lost from circumcision.)
Barbells (straight or curved) as small as 14g have been used for this piercing in the past. However, in order to stand up to the stress of normal sexual activity and lessen the chance of rejection, we recommend nothing thinner than a 12g.
